Real, down-to-earth therapy
Hey! I’m Genevieve. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. I show up to therapy the same way I show up in real life—modern, compassionate, straightforward, and human.
I specialize in treating anxiety, trauma/PTSD, OCD, and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. I also offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a trauma-focused therapy that uses guided eye movements to help reduce symptoms like nightmares, flashbacks, memory gaps, numbness, hypervigilance, irritability, and self-destructive patterns. Many clients experience meaningful relief in just 1–5 sessions.
I’m also proud to provide assessment and referral letters for Hormone Replacement Therapy, gender confirmation surgeries, and sterilization support for any adult who needs it. No gatekeeping; just care, respect, and honesty.
As a former military spouse, I deeply value working with military members, veterans, and first responders. I’m also a proud bisexual therapist, and many clients have told me they appreciate my mix of directness and empathy. I won’t force you to change (and honestly, that’s not how therapy works anyway). My job is to help you connect with the change you’re already seeking.
I take the time to get to know you—your story, your strengths, your goals—so we can figure out the kind of therapy that actually fits you. Finding the right therapist shouldn’t feel like solving a puzzle. My approach is person-centered, which means I believe you’re the expert on your life. I’m here to walk with you, not lead you somewhere you don’t want to go.
If you’re looking for therapy that feels real, warm, and genuinely collaborative, let's talk.
